What you overheard doesn't seem that odd to me. (full disclaimer: I was on the cusp of creating the bacon-infused hamburger at my last barbeque this past weekend--but the bacon in my fridge was too old and I didn't trust it.)
It helps to know Dan Cafe...I'll go ahead and dislose that he is "guy"
